On March 8th Denise Lehman and Innovations Dancer Center donated $2000 to Dancers Against Cancer in honor of Marlyn "Granny" Johnson. Jody traveled to Plainfield, Indiana to meet Marlyn, Denise, and all the teachers and students. Maryln is a 5 year survivor and is truly loved by everyone at the studio. Dancers Against Cancer greatly appreciated the donation and immediately put it to use.

It was a rough night for the Texarkana show. Hurricane Ike made his presence known right as we finished the show !! Thank you to Arkansas High Redliners, Company Dance, Dance Illusions, Genoa Central, Kathy's Dance Arts Studio, Pleasant Grove Showstoppers, and Texas High School. Even with the storm we raised $1500 and counting. Thank you again Jessica Vickers without you and your mom DAC would not be able to help the fight against breast cancer. This was Jessica's third year to host the show and decided to donate the money to St. Michael's and Wadley Breast Care. Jessica and her mom, Joslyn will continue to sell t-shirts. We thank everyone for coming out in the storm !! We will keep you updated on the amount raised.
