Oklahoma City Does It Again!

Thanks again to Harding Fine Arts Academy for hosting another great DAC show! This year we raised $3,500 for Project3One. We couldn't do this without the wonderful studios that participated. Thank you to Academy Dance Arts, Ascend Studios, Dance Company of OSU, North Dance Company, Oklahoma City Youth Ballet, Range Of Motion Dance Studio, Stage Art Productions, and Star Steps. We also want to thank all the vendors and business that donated to our silent auction. Such a great group of supporters in Oklahoma City!

We Are Honorded By Ashira's Donation!

Ashira is a 6th grader at Atlanta Jewish Academy and a member of the Dance Theatre of Sandy Springs DTX Black Team. Although she has only been dancing for 3 years, dance is her passion and she takes classes for nine plus hours a week. Her school has a program where each child selects a charitable oganization to receive donations in honor of the student's bar or bat mitzvah. Ashira selected Dancers Against Cancer! Her mother, Debbie Derby and coach, Ali Peecher planned a benefit performance for the evening of her Bat Mitzvah. The DTX Black and Pink teams participated, as well as the DTSS Company and special guest Union Grove Middle School Dance Team. Between 250 and 300 people attended the performance, which raised over $3,400!

Annual Holiday Show Chooses DAC!

The Dance Konnection in Marshalltown, Iowa held their annual Christmas Show. Each year they choose three organizations to donate to and Dancers Against Cancer was lucky to be one of them! We are so humbled and thankful to be receiving a donation in the amount of $1,384.25!
