For example, if several players have three of a kind, the highest card in the hand breaks the tie.
Other possible outcomes of the hand include a flush, a straight, and a four of a kind. A four of a kind is four cards of the same rank. Two four of a kind with the same rank win. An ace can also be treated as the lowest card in some games.
The final round of betting will determine the winner of the pot. The hand with the best five-card combination will win the pot. During the last round of betting, a poker player may have a choice of a call, match, or raise. Depending on the rules of the game, players can bet or fold their hands.
